The reason that we haven't had a ministry blog yet is because I was too scared to write one. I was worried it would be really boring or dumb, that people wouldn't read it or that they would and it wouldn't be good enough. I struggle with worrying about what people think WAY too much! We were talking in Bible study this morning about Jesus, and how he didn't have many friends here on earth. He wasn't here to be popular, He was here to do the will of His Father. I need to do the same and follow His example.
As many of you know, our family is currently in the support-raising process of serving at Victory Bible Camp full time. God has already done amazing things and our faith has been stretched time and time again. We are so excited to see how He is going to continue to bring in all of the funds that we need, as people make an eternal investment in this ministry. We still constantly need to be reminded not to fear, because we have an all-powerful God that we can place our faith in. I love Hebrews 11:6 " And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
At the end of this month we will be moving to Hudsonville, Michigan to spend some time with family before we move to Alaska. We are excited we have been given this opportunity, as we won't be back to visit very often once we are at camp. We would really appreciate your prayer as we prepare to move twice in a short amount of time. And as we continue to build up our support team. Thanks for reading, we hope to update this often. Also, we will work on getting an updated prayer card to our supporters with Raeghan (our newest addition) included in the picture.
